Enrollment Appointments for Current Students

posted Apr 11, 2019, 12:28 PM by Cal Hardage

Current Sophomores and Juniors have been emailed enrollment appointment times.  Sophomores will meet with Mrs. Long, and Juniors with Mrs. Reheard to choose courses for next school year.  Parents are invited and encouraged to attend, but not required.   Appointments will last 15 minutes and are scheduled April 15-18.   Due to the volume of appointments, there will be no changing of appointment times.  If a parent is unable to attend and would like to meet with the counselors, appointments will be scheduled in May.  If you are unsure of your child’s appointment time and wish to attend, please call (918) 256-6777.  Freshmen will be sent an email by April 16th for appointment times that will occur April 22-23.  8th Grade Parent Night and course selection will be April 23 at 6:00 in the VHS cafeteria.

Welcome to the Vinita High School Website!  This page will contain links and information regarding the daily activities of our school.  I encourage you to take advantage of this site and take an active interest in your child’s education.

The faculty and staff at Vinita High School strive to provide an environment where students obtain a quality academic education as well as participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities.  Our district has high expectations for our teachers as well as our students.  The teachers work very hard to ensure that students receive the academic foundation necessary to be successful after high school.

The students at Vinita High School have the opportunity to participate and be successful in a variety of areas, including academics, the arts, vocational skills, and athletics.  Many of our school’s programs have been extremely successful and the students are a great source of pride for our faculty, staff, and community.

I would like to encourage our parents and community members to support our student body.  We truly have an outstanding group of young people at Vinita High School.  Please contact us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
